Free Twitch alerts for OBS

Pop-ups for your stream that you set up in a minute: bits, gifted subs, new subs, follows, raids and reached goals. Pick a size and a filter for each one, add a song or a video if you like, and paste one link into OBS.

Separate alerts for each kind of event

• Bits. Levels you choose, for example one alert for 100 bits and a bigger one for 1,000.
• Gifted subs. Levels by how many subs were gifted at once.
• New subs and resubs. One alert, with the number of months for a resub.
• Followers. "Someone just followed!" with your own text.
• Raids. Levels by how many viewers the raider brings.
• Goal reached. Plays when a Twitch Creator Goal on your channel is completed.

Every kind can be switched on or off, and so can every level inside it, so you can build something and not use it yet. Each kind of alert gets its own overlay and its own OBS link.

Make each one your own

• Size. A small, medium or big toast at the top of the screen, or an epic full-screen headline with a screen shake.
• Filters. Falling confetti, gift icons, hearts or stars, or fireworks.
• Your text. Use {name}, {amount} and {message} in the alert text.
• A song. Paste a direct audio link (.mp3, .ogg, .wav or .m4a). Dropbox links work.
• A video. Paste a direct .mp4 or .webm link and set its opacity. It plays muted, so use the song for sound.

Test it before you go live

Press Test on any level to play it in the dashboard preview. You can also turn on your camera in the preview to see the alert over yourself. The picture stays in your browser and is never uploaded.

How it works, and what we can see

The alert page in OBS connects straight to Twitch's event service, and the events go from Twitch to your overlay. Kisahly does not receive or store who followed, subscribed or cheered, or what they wrote. Alerts only play while the overlay is open in OBS.

Are the alerts free?

Yes, free for life, with no ads and no paid plan.

Can I use my own sound?

Yes. Use a direct audio link, for example from Dropbox. Only use music you have the right to play on stream, since copyrighted songs can get your VODs muted.

What size should the OBS source be?

Set it to your full canvas, usually 1920 by 1080. The page is transparent, so it only draws the alert.
